Civigroup Companies Unveiled in West Valley
Goodyear-based development company Rose Properties Soutwest, LLC, has been renamed Civica Development, as part of a larger corporate expansion of the companies owned and operated by third generation West Valley businessman Jack Rose. Civigroup Companies, was unveiled as the name of the parent company for three entities: Civica Development, Civicap Ventures, a venture capital and investment company, and Civiterra Design-Build, a design and construction management firm.

Rose Properties Southwest, LLC, today announced the purchase of its sixth property in Avondale, a 32-acre site on the southeast corner of Avondale Boulevard and Broadway Road, near Phoenix International Raceway.

Cactus League "Ballpark Village" Becomes a Reality
The Cleveland Indians took a major step forward in its move to new Spring Training facilities in Arizona's Cactus League yesterday. The City of Goodyear approved seven key agreements that will pave the way for the Indians' opening day in Spring 2009 and for the development of a "ballpark village" surrounding the planned Spring Training complex on the 242-acre site. A private consortium that includes Goodyear-based developer Rose Properties Southwest, LLC; the Wood family, fourth-generation owners of the underlying property; and San Diego-based JMI Sports LLC; received the green light to advance the design and construction of the Spring Training complex and surrounding private development.

Rose Properties Southwest's SunCor Acquisitions Near $50 Million
Rose Properties Southwest, LLC, today announced the purchase of three additional commercial properties from SunCor Development Company, bringing the firm's total acquisitions of SunCor parcels to date to 12 at a cost of nearly $50 million.

Rose Properties Lures Top Talent To Executive Team
Rose Properties Southwest, LLC, today announced that it has recruited two senior development professionals, David Kautz and Terrence Matula, to expand its executive leadership team. David Kautz will serve as vice president of retail development. Terrence Matula will serve as vice president of mixed-use development.

Each man brings nearly 30 years of professional experience to Rose Properties and its fast-growing real estate portfolio. Both were recruited by Rose Properties Southwest managing director John Ruggieri after a nationwide search.

Rose Properties Acquires Three Suncor Sites In Goodyear
Rose Properties Southwest, LLC, today announced the purchase of three additional commercial properties in Goodyear from SunCor Development Company. The total purchase price of the properties was $13 million. The acquisition brings the total number of parcels purchased by Rose Properties from SunCor to nine, with another four slated to close in April of this year.

Litchfield Park City Council Approves MOU for Rosewood Plaza
On July 19, the Litchfield Park City Council approved a Memorandum of Understanding that will help Rose Properties Southwest attract a gourmet grocer to Rosewood Plaza, a mixed-use lifestyle center planned at the corner of Wigwam Boulevard and Litchfield Road.

Green Family Farm Sold for Industrial Development
On May 1, 2006, Rose Properties Southwest announced the sale of the 157-acre Green family farm to the Lauth Group, an Indiana-based builder of commercial and industrial properties. The property, located on the southwest corner of Litchfield Road and Lower Buckeye Road, will be developed by the Lauth Group as 2.5 million square feet of distribution and warehouse facilities. The property was entitled by Goodyear-based Rose Properties Southwest on behalf of Green Family Development, LLC.
