Founded by Jack Rose, the Civigroup Companies’ origins date back to 1928 when the Rose family first arrived in the West Valley and began a tradition of business ownership and involvement in the area. Over the generations, the Rose name has been associated with a wide range of successful enterprises, from major construction materials operations to real estate development, banking and venture capital.

Today, Civigroup’s philosophy is one of long-term commitment, generating wealth for our partners and prosperity for the West Valley. From promoting economic development and quality employment – helping create 100 new jobs in the region over the past three years – to philanthropic support and active involvement in local arts, cultural, educational and community organizations, we are dedicated to the continued growth and success of the West Valley.

Civica Development focuses its activities in four principal areas: land acquisition, land entitlement, development and asset management. Currently, the company controls more than 40 properties in the West Valley, with major ongoing projects throughout the region.

Civicap Ventures is involved in a broad spectrum of investments and venture capital commitments. From banking and financial enterprises to health care technologies, education and other ventures, our support for new, growth businesses and affiliation with promising, success-driven companies is inspired by a common goal: To enhance the quality of life in the West Valley.

Civiterra Design-Build furthers Civigroup’s development experience, specializing in efficient and effective project design and construction. Blending proven techniques, processes and resources with the expertise, insight and renowned backgrounds of our professionals, the company will continue to build on our success in the planning, design and construction of landmark projects.
